FEBRUARY 18, 2022
We were supposed to leave Toronto on Friday however our flight was cancelled due to a broken window on the plane.
Carmel spent hours on the phone trying to get new tickets, and she finally got them only at 3 am! However the new flight was for two days later, we stayed in Toronto.
FEBRUARY 20, 2022
Right before our next attempt to fly to Europe, we got an extra training day in our gym! We trained in the morning before heading to the airport at night.
FEBRUARY 21, 2022
We happily arrived in Tartu, Estonia with all our luggage and smiles.
Our other half of the team also departed from Cambridge! We welcomed Ludmilla, Ella and Sasha.
FEBRUARY 22, 2022
We trained in Gymnastics Club Janika beautiful home gym!
Late at night, Miss Valentine organizers started to set up the competition gym!
Everybody is so happy and excited!
FEBRUARY 24!
First competition day! Our brave juniors Giada and Ella were the first gymnasts from Canada to compete! Our girls sparkled so bright and we are so proud of you! ❤️
FEBRUARY 26, 2022 ! First senior individual competition day. Alissa, Momoko, Katerina, Liza, Erin and Sasha showed their beautiful routines.
On that day, MAKING HISTORY FOR CANADA! OUR VERY OWN CARMEL KALLEMAA WON SECOND PLACE AA IN TARTU GRAND PRIX!
FEBRUARY 27, 2022!
Wow what a crazy busy day!
First we had our Glimmer FIG Senior group compete! They won FIRST place!
Group members, Carmel, Alissa, Momoko, Liza, Katerina, Giada!
This followed with individual finals first routine! We had three finalists! Alissa, Momoko, Sasha!
After that right away Glimmer AGG Senior Team competition! Girls won a very strong second place!
Group members, Carmel, Alissa, Momoko, Liza, Katerina, Giada, Erin!
After AGG we had our individuals compete their second final routine! A medal for Alissa!
After that we had our Carmel compete with 4 GRAND PRIX final routines! CARMEL KALLEMAA WON 3 BRONZE MEDALS AT GRAND PRIX!
WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU GIRLS AND COACHES!
