Glimmer headed to Saskatchewan for Elite Canada, where the team faced truly freezing conditions — temperatures dropped to -50°C, the gym was incredibly cold, and snowstorms even caused flights home to be cancelled! ❄️
Despite the challenging conditions, the Glimmer Senior Group came out 1st after qualification and finished the finals with an incredible three silver medals 🥈🥈🥈.
Our Senior FIG individual athlete, Carmel, also had an amazing competition, finishing 3rd overall and bringing home three bronze medals from the apparatus finals! 🥉🥉🥉
Carmel and Glimmer had the incredible opportunity to perform on Canada’s Got Talent, bringing the beauty and excitement of rhythmic gymnastics to a national audience. Their performance captivated both the judges and the crowd, earning an enthusiastic YES from all four judges. It was an unforgettable experience and a proud milestone for the entire Glimmer family.

We had beautiful, talented Alexandra Piscupescu visited us on the last day of July 2024! Alexandra is a previous high level Romanian rhythmic gymnast, World Cup medallist. Right now she is Technical committee member in European gymnastics, Romanian RG federation vice president and International judge!
