Rhythmic Gymnastics
Learn the Sport with Experienced Coaches!

We offer classes in Toronto, Barrie and Cambridge, Ontario

At the Glimmer Athletic Club, we focus on two of the most beautiful sports: Rhythmic Gymnastics (RG) and Aesthetic Group Gymnastics (AGG). Both RG and AGG involve routines set to music and choreographed to tell a story. In RG hand apparatus such as balls, ribbons and hoops are incorporated into the routines at various difficulties for the different development levels. AGG focuses  more on full body movement and the work is always in a group.

Gymnastics truly is a sport for everyone!
Gymnastics develops physical fitness, coordination, motor skills, rhythm, teamwork, self-confidence, responsibility, goal-setting, sportsmanship, friendship, creativity, musicality and artistry.

Janika, who has founded clubs both in Europe and now here in Canada, brings a wealth of experience and high level development expertise to help grow the sport in Canada.

At Glimmer girls of various ages and abilities work together in a supportive environment that focuses on individual development.  Our girls become a part of my extended family and each one is recognized for their individual talents and receives tailored coaching,  whether they compete as individuals or part of a team.  Gymnastics has always been a huge part of my life and I hope to instill the same love of the sport into my gymnasts and hope that the comraderie, discipline and fitness benefits serve them well throughout their lives. Gymnastics is for everyone!
